Fixed Glass Applications
Porch Windows Direct manufactures a fixed glass panel in addition to our vertical 4 track windows and doors. Below are a few applications where those fixed glass windows are used.
In our doors you have the choice of a 4 track operable window or a fixed glass panel. The reason to use an operable window is for the additional ventilation. The reason to do fixed glass in a door would be for a more “open” view without obstruction of the window sashes. Also if you have a pet that scratches against a door and would tear the window screen, you can do the fixed glass panel that doesn’t have a screen.
