Brandon Williamson, the owner of Porch Windows Direct, has a lifetime of experience in home improvement, construction, and customer service, starting with work at his grandparents' hardware store in his youth.
Building decks & porches
After establishing a successful construction company building decks and porches for homeowners in Minnesota, Brandon recognized some limitations in the new outdoor spaces he was creating.
Screen porch limitations
Many of the screened-in porches were only used during warm weather – on sunny days with no wind. Add to that, the spaces were open to the elements and required constant cleaning.

After looking at dozens of products, Brandon came across Vertical 4-Track Porch Windows and started buying them to install into his new porch projects.
Joining Sunspace
His confidence in the products eventually led to becoming a dealer for Sunspace starting in 2009. Brandon shifted away from building to focus full-time on providing Sunspace Porch Windows for homeowners looking to upgrade their porch as well as building contractors who are looking for uses in their new porch building projects.

Porch Windows Direct started manufacturing its own Xtend Porch Window in 2023. By manufacturing the Xtend windows in-house, PWD is able to control production times, materials, and shipping.
